Stretch task #10

Technology and teens are very interesting topics to discuss. Put them together and you could converse for hours. Teens are very informed and involved with technology. I hate to say it, but teens are probably more advanced in technology than most adults these days. Schools block social networking websites at school, such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter. As a result in students being so informed, they can easily unblock these websites. I know firsthand of people who do, or have done this. How do we solve this problem? I believe that adults, such as parents, should become more involved in what their kids are doing online, and learn about the Internet, and become more aware about technology. If students unblock social networking sites and get bad grades, I believe that that is their own fault. Kids need to learn self-discipline. They should be responsible for their grades, it should not be technology’s fault. Technology opens doors to another world.
